Authorizing a Lease Agreement between the City and The University of St. Thomas, for the Police Department's use of auditorium space for the Police Recruit Academy Graduation on May 31, 2024.

WHEREAS, The University of St. Thomas is the owner of the real property located at 2115 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, MN; and
WHEREAS, City of Saint Paul Police Department has requested to use the O’Shaughnessy Educational Center Auditorium, Classrooms 305 & 306 at St. Thomas on May 31, 2024; and
WHEREAS, this lease includes and indemnification clause to the State of Minnesota; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes the proper city officials to execute the Agreements in a form and content substantially as set forth in the attached hereto.
