Approving the use of Neighborhood STAR grant funds for an expanded scope of work for Yoni Treats LLC.

Body

WHEREAS, on December 13, 2023, Yoni Treats LLC, located at 1440 Arcade St Suite J, was awarded up to $5,000 in Neighborhood STAR grant funds for their project Yoni Treats Wellness Center Signage; and

WHEREAS, on March 15, 2024, the Neighborhood STAR Board reviewed a request for Yoni Treats LLC to expand the scope of their project to include signage, doors, shelving, a camera system, a partial wall, and light fixtures; and

WHEREAS, the Neighborhood STAR Board rates grant requests on a scale from 1 (low) to 5 (high) with Yoni Treats LLC’s proposal to expand the scope of their project receiving a final score of 5; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Saint Paul City Council approve the use of the $5,000 NSTAR grant awarded in December 2023 to Yoni Treats LLC for their expanded project to include signage, doors, shelving, a camera system, a partial wall, and light fixtures; now be it

RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon the recommendation of the Mayor that funds are still available for appropriation, that the expanded scope of work described above is hereby approved; and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that staff of the Department of Planning and Economic Development are further authorized and directed to proceed with all other actions necessary to implement this Resolution, including finalizing all documents and agreements, subject to approval by the City Attorney’s Office; and be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper City official(s) are hereby approved and authorized to execute any and all documents in connection with this Resolution, subject to approval by the City Attorney’s Office; and be it

 

FINALLY RESOLVED, that this Resolution does not constitute a binding legal agreement; rather, the action taken herein shall not be effective until said documents are executed by the appropriate official(s) of the City.
