Authorizing the City to enter into a Subrecipient agreement with the State of Minnesota, through its Commissioner of the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for the expansion of the Electric Vehicle Spot Network at two Parks and Recreation Centers.

WHEREAS, the City plans to expand the Electric Vehicle Spot Network in Saint Paul by installing electric vehicle charging stations at the Jimmy Lee Recreation Center and the Arlington Hills Community Center using funds awarded by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency; and
WHEREAS, the match for this project has been approved to come from American Rescue Plan funding as outlined in Council Administrative Orders 24-6 and 24-7; and
WHEREAS, the program scope, budget and responsibilities of the City of Saint Paul and its sub-contractors for project elements are defined in the agreement; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into the agreement, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and be it finally
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the agreement and any amendments to the agreement.
