Title

Appeal of Jennifer Komatsu, Seventh Street LLC, to a Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection dated 1/3/24 and a Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection dated 1/9/24, both at 1695 SEVENTH STREET EAST.

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday,January 23, 2024, teleconference between 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  We are unable to make the listed repairs because the tenant who called in the complaint will not allow maintenance personnel to enter her unit.  See attached text exchange.  she has also left threatening voicemails with property management and maintenance.  We are more than willing to make the repairs, but cannot do so without tenant's cooperation.  She has a volatile history, and even city inspectors will not interact with her without police escort, so we cannot ask repair people to continue working with her.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  January 3, 2024

Inspector/Key Staff:  Der Vue

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Notice dated 1/3/24 was sent in with appeal application.  Staff found a newer order dated 1/9/24.
