Legislative Hearing Staff Comments: Order issued in October with 10/30 compliance date, WO sent but had to stall due to switch of contractors. On 12/13/23 crew went to the property to do the clean up. Partial pallets were removed but owner wants the clean up be stopped. Inspector advised owner to file an appeal to stop the wo from further removal of the pallets. Owner is asking for extensions to remove all the pallets.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Marie Eggers to a Summary Abatement Order at 763 Sims Avenue, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an extension to January 12, 2024 for removal of the pallets, including new items discussed in the Legislative Hearing, such as the concrete blocks, to be issued by Code Enforcement; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
