Ratifying the assessments for Collection of Excessive Use of Inspection or Abatement services billed during May 22, 2023 to June 21, 2023. (File No. J2403E, Assessment No. 248302)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 23-1486 accepted the Report of Completion for Excessive Use of Inspection or Abatement Service for the Property Code Violations billed during May 22, 2023 to June 21, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has considered objections of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to their assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on February 14, 2024 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 429 of Minnesota State Statutes and Chapter 45 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, the assessment is hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 23-397: 1135 Dale Street North;
RLH TA 23-409: 1643-1645 Dieter Street;
RLH TA 24-17: 1235 Minnehaha Avenue East;
RLH TA 24-16: 751 Oakdale Avenue; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
