WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Susan Dunlop to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 631 Snelling Avenue South, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to November 1, 2023 with items 1 (roof), 2 (plumbing), 3 (fire extinguishers), and 10 (fire separation between interior/exterior spaces), as well as an engineering analysis as it relates to exterior wall and grant an extension for 90 days to April 23, 2024 for the water meter repair and 2 year extension on compliance with items 4 and 5 of the July 10, 2023 orders on condition of continued use for cooking which produce no grease-laden vapors refer back to Legislative Hearing on January 16, 2024 for further discussion of remaining items, including building repair timeline based on engineering analysis; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
