Appeal of David Busch, DRB #24 LLC, to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 547 EDMUND AVENUE.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, June 6, 2023, teleconference between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  Property is being repaired from fire in ordinary course of business.  It is very habitable, not a public nuisance, not a hazard or dangerous to human life.  No condemnation placard should be placed.

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  There was also another interior fire from 2021.

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of David Busch, DRB #24 LLC, to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 547 EDMUND AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days to August 16, 2023; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
