Accepting the gift of lodging from the Minnesota State Patrol and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources - Forestry Division for the Saint Paul Fire Department's Minnesota Air Rescue Team (MART) members to support fighting the wildfires in Northern Minnesota.

WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has requested the support of the Saint Paul Fire Department's Minnesota Air Rescue Team (MART) members to support fighting the wildfires in Northern Minnesota from July 11 - September 7, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota State Patrol and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is providing lodging for their team members along with the Saint Paul Fire Department employees; and
WHEREAS, the MART team is a state resource; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of the cost of the lodging for Saint Paul Fire Department's Minnesota Air Rescue Team (MART) members from the Minnesota State Patrol and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources - Forestry Division.
