Pertaining to an agreement with GEI Consultants, Inc. to provide professional engineering services for design and construction during the Vadnais Intake Gate House Replacement project.
Body
WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul (the “Board”) desires to obtain professional engineering services for design and construction of a new Vadnais Intake Gate House; and
WHEREAS, proposals were solicited from qualified firms to provide said services, and from those, staff recommends the proposal submitted by GEI Consultants, Inc. (“GEI”) dated April 29, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to enter into an agreement with GEI to provide said services at a cost not to exceed $375,800; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul hereby requests that the City of Saint Paul Contracts and Analysis Services draft an agreement with GEI to provide professional engineering services for the design and construction of a new Vadnais intake gate house, as described in the Event 1702 Request for Proposal and the GEI proposal dated April 29, 2026, at a cost not to exceed $375,800.00, and to include all other terms and conditions as may be required; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement following approval by the assistant city attorney.
