Title

Pertaining to a Professional Services Agreement with Ferguson Enterprises, LLC to provide Automated Metering Infrastructure equipment and installation services.

 

 

 

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul (the “Board”) has instituted a Leak Audit Program using an integrated system of smart meters, communications networks, and data management that enables two-way communication between SPRWS and its customers known as Advanced Metering Infrastructure (“AMI”); and

 

WHEREAS, the Board previously entered into Contract 3928 dated August 21st, 2023 with Ferguson Enterprises, LLC for AMI equipment and installation services; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board and Ferguson Enterprises, LLC amended Contract 3928 on February 8th, 2024 to provide additional services for an additional cost not to exceed $137,500.00; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board and Ferguson Enterprises, LLC amended Contract 3928 on July 29th 2024, to extend the expiration date of the contract for one additional year; and

 

WHEREAS, the term of contract 3928 expired on August 21, 2025; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board and Ferguson Enterprises, LLC desires to continue with the services provided by Contract 3928 where staff have negotiated a new agreement for AMI equipment and installation services, for a three (3) year period, at a cost not to exceed $399,144.50; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul hereby requests the City of Saint Paul Contracts and Analysis Services draft an agreement with Ferguson Enterprises, LLC providing professional services at a cost not to exceed $399,144.50 and to include all other terms and conditions as may be required; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement following approval by the assistant city attorney.
