RLH RR 25-30 10/20/2025 2:56 AMStefanie Foreman For The old CVS building is disgraceful. It needs to be torn down or renovated into something that will actually help our community at one of the busiest intersections in the neighborhood. It's prime real estate that is being wasted and it's ugly to boot. It's a blight on our neighborhood that has to go.
RLH RR 25-30 10/14/2025 10:29 PMSteve Pincuspy For Hello City Council, I am fully in support of renovating or demolishing the CVS at 499 Snelling. However, I doubt that will, by itself, solve the increase in petty crime plaguing this neighborhood I call home. It appears the intersection of Snelling and University has become a haven for the homeless, drug addicts, criminals or otherwise unsavory individuals. From people sleeping at that Metro station and local parks, to individuals milling about at Kimball Courts and all along Snelling and University Ave, this situation is becoming intolerable. We've had numerous individuals attempt to break into our cars in just the last year, there have been several shootings and stabbings at Midway Saloon, and trash is everywhere. This is nuts! The police seem powerless to stop this crime wave. While we love St Paul and our immediate neighbors, we are contemplating moving so we don't have to continue to live in this unacceptable atmosphere. Figure out a solution! DO BETTER! +1
