As you, the Council, reviews the budget, please keep this in mind My property taxes have increased in double digits for the last 4 years. You have to stop this idea that the tax spigot has no end. It does. The 1% tax increase voted by the people was for current street and park projects-not new projects. There is $8 million that was budget to spend on design on new projects is wrong. There needs to be a stopping of planning for new projects, and this includes the Summit Ave bike lane project. This needs to stop. Spend the money on maintenance of current facilities. The City is being hurt by this spending. I have to stay within my budget, you need to create a budget that you can follow. Thank you.
