Purpose of Appeal
1.  Re:  escape window in sleeping room.  Deficiencies list #3
2.  Re:  Rear deck #13  The rear deck was there before I bought this property.  It is not brand new at all.  And also less than 2 inches high.  The office told me that I have put footing under post or removed completely.  Please help.

Body
WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Abera Mulugeta to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy With Deficiencies at 172 CHARLES AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 6-inch varirance on the openable height of the egress window  in the second floor middle bedroom, and deny the appeal on the rear deck and grant an extension to December 9, 2011 to come into compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
