Purpose of Appeal
See letter from May 9, 2011 by fire inspector. I did not receive this letter until July 11 after it was remailed to me. Also, electrician Bob Baber states he did not get his e-mail until Friday, July 8th, 2011. We appeal #3, "all detectors must be wired on a dedicated circuit," and #4, a first floor detector to be added.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of letter from Fire Inspector at 457-459 PORTLAND AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal on the condition the appellant fill out the smoke detector affidavit annually and have it available upon the Department of Saifety and Inspections's request; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
