Appeal of Andrew Dick to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 693 YORK AVENUE.

Purpose of Appeal

Items 12 and 13 of attached fire inspection correction notice.  12) Window openable height is 1.5" short but it is antique and original to the house and the opening width is more than adequate.  13) I have already taken care of rodent problem; ie, plugging any holes with steel wool in basement, placing both traps and poison.  There were old mouse droppings from months ago but no new signs of rodents.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the appeal of Andrew Dick to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 693 YORK AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal on the windows and deny the apppeal on the extermination issue, giving an extension to October 21, 2011 to come into compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
