Updating City documents and maps to accurately identify the North End/South Como neighborhoods.

Whereas, the City of Saint Paul takes pride in being a city of neighborhoods;
Whereas, the City of Saint Paul Planning Districts were established to foster citizen participation and to support neighborhood-level planning; and
Whereas, the area represented by the District 6 Planning Council is known as North End/South Como; and
Whereas, the area of District 6 generally west of Dale Street and east of Lexington is known as the South Como neighborhood; and
Whereas, the Saint Paul Area Association of Realtors NorthstarMLS recently changed its neighborhood designations in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) database to align with the City of Saint Paul planning district boundaries. Now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that City staff are hereby directed to correct city maps, district council listings, and other references to reflect District 6 as North End/South Como, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is instructed to contact the appropriate parties to request that the MLS listing be similarly updated to more accurately identify the North End/South Como neighborhoods.
