Purpose of Appeal
We are appealing 2 bedroom windows that will not comply w/ egress policy. The first bedroom will have an openable width of 28" and openable height of 19." The 2nd bedroom will have an openable width of 20" and an openable height of 19." Overall glazed area is met/exceeded on both openings. Please approve.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Renewal by Andersen, on behalf of Russell Klein, to Egress Window Non-Compliance Determinations at 522 SARATOGA STREET SOUTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 5-inch variance on the openable height of one double hung replacement egress bedroom window measuring 19 inches high by 20 inches wide, and grant a 5-inch variance on the openable height of one double hung replacement egress bedroom window measuring 19 inches high by 28 inches wide; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
