Purpose of Appeal
We are appealing 1 window replacement that will not comply w/egress policy.  The windows will be short in height by 5".  The width will be exceeded by 5" and overall glazed area comes out of 6.6 sq ft.  Homeowner wants to keep existing operating style.  Please approve.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Renewal by Andersen, on behalf of Joe Briesler, to an Egress Window Non-Compliance Determination at 155 BELVIDERE STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 5-inch variance on the openable height of one double-hung replacement egress bedroom window measuring 19 inches high by 25 inches wide; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
