Appeal of Katherine Emmons to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 1842 NEVADA AVENUE.
 
Purpose of Appeal
The existing windows in the residence are replacement windows that were installed by a licensed contractor under permit.  During the recent inspection on August 9, 2011 Inspector Thomas indicated that because the windows were fairly new and in very good condition, I may be approved for a variance.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Katherine Emmons to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 1842 NEVADA AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 3-inch variance on the openable height of the egress windows in all bedrooms; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
