Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to increase the 2011 Budget in its Arts and Gardening activity by $25,350 to reflect the increased revenue received as a result of the services provided in the agreement with Public Works.
Body
WHEREAS, The Department of Parks and Recreation has agreed to a memo of understanding with the Department of Public Works that will provide Parks and Recreation with $25,350 in additional revenue in exchange for gardening services provided on the Right of Way; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to increase the 2011 Budget in its Arts and Gardening activity (33190) by $25,350 to reflect the increased revenue received as a result of the services provided in the agreement with Public Works; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Parks and Recreation also wishes to show the adjusted spending budget and the plan for these additional expenditures, relating to the services provided to the Right of Way Fund by Parks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $25,350 in excess of those estimated in the 2011 Arts and Gardening budget; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor, that $25,350 is available for appropriation in the 2011 Arts and Gardening budget, and said budget as therefore adopted by the Council, is hereby further amended as indicated in the attached fiscal analysis form.
