Purpose of Appeal
The first meeting that I had with the "new" inspector is also the day (9/8/11) I received the work order dated 9/7/11 and the day the inspector posted the Revocation Notice.  I have completed all interior safety issues.  The items left are exterior related front porch/back porch/detached garage.  I would request more time to complete these items and request detached garage, that I'm not renting, be exempt, and stop vacate order.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the appeal of Lakewood Partners LLC to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Recovation and Order to Vacate at 540 MENDOTA STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant an extension to October 31, 2011 to come into compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
