Ratifying the assessments for Demolition services from July 2011. (File No. J1116C, Assessment No. 118107)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 11-1601 accepted the Report of Completion for Demolition of Vacant Buildings during the month of July 2011 (Non-CDBG Funds); and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the following assessment was appealed:
RLH TA 11-375 - 1942 Juliet Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on October 05, 2011 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for and in connection with said services having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same and found said assessments satisfactory, Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects ratified; pursuant to Saint Paul City Charter Chapter 14 and Saint Paul Administrative Code Chapter 60: Property Service Cost Assessments with the following amendment:
RLH TA 11-375 - 1942 Juliet Avenue - Approve the assessment and spread the payments over five (5) years; And, Be It Further
RESOLVED, that said assessments are hereby determined to be payable in one installment unless specified above in the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendment.
