Purpose of Appeal
We hired Service Master to perform the work on both buildings. The work was not done with permits on the framing of outside fire damage to the 2nd floor. This buliding and front building was just approved with corrections of the c/o right before the fire.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Margaret Uriah to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 584 EDMUND AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant, and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council 1) waive the vacant buillding fee and make this a Category 1 Registered Vacant Building until Nov 30, 2011; 2) require that the properties remain connected unoccupied until a Fire Certificate of Occupancy is issued for both properties; and 3) reinstate the vacant building fee and re-establish the Category 2 status of this Registered Vacant Buiding if the Fire Certificate of Occupancy has not been issued by November 30, 2011; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
