Approving residential permit parking fees.
 
Body
WHEREAS, the residential permit parking ordinances have been revised to remove permit parking fees from the Saint Paul Legislative Code and requires all permit parking fees to be adopted by a separate City Council resolution in accordance with Section 164.10 (c) of the Saint Paul Legislative Code; and
 
WHEREAS, Chapter 156 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, "Safe Pedestrian Crossings" has been revised to remove petition filing fees from the Saint Paul Legislative Code and requires all fees to be adopted by a separate City Council resolution in accordance with Section 156.03 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code; now, therefore, be it
 
RESOLVED, that the permit parking fee schedule for permits issued under Chapter 164 - "Residential Permit Parking - Guidelines and Regulations," of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, shall be as follows:

Note:  The only change being proposed from the existing residential permit parking fees is the fee for filing a petition.

Petition filing fee                         $10.00 per parcel owner signature
 
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the filing fee for petitions for "Safe Pedestrian Crossings" per Section 156.03 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code shall be $10.00; and
 
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the effective date of this resolution shall coincide with the effective date of the Ordinance adopting Chapter 164 - Residential Permit Parking - Guidelines and Regulations, CF# 11-97 and the ordinance adopting amendments to Chapter 156 - Safe Pedestrian Crossings, CF# 11-83.
