Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $5,000.00 in the Fire Protection Clothing Fund due to additional operating expenditures.  

Body

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Department has incurred additional costs for the firefighter's clothing allowance due to hiring of 11 additional firefighters, and

WHEREAS, in order to fund these additional costs, the Fire Department has identified the use of fund balance of $5,000.00, and

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $5,000.00 in excess of those estimated in the 2011 budget; and recommends the following change be made to the 2011 budget:

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council approves the changes to the 2011 budget.
