Authorizing the City of Saint Paul to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) for the period of the 2011-2012 VISTA program year.

Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul will enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) for the period of the 2011-2012 VISTA program year, pursuant to which it will act as a Sponsor organization; and
WHEREAS,
-American Indian Family Center ($3,000 cost-share),
-Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities ($3,000 cost-share),
-Breakthrough Saint Paul ($3,000 cost-share),
-Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties ($11,232 cost-share),
-Community Design Center ($3,000 cost-share),
-East Side Arts Council ($3,000 cost-share),
-EMS Academy ($3,000 cost-share),
-Everybody Wins! Minnesota ($11,232 cost-share),
-Genesys Works ($3,000 cost-share),
-Jackson Elementary ($3,000 cost-share),
-Lao Family Community of Minnesota ($3,000 cost-share),
-Maxfield Elementary ($3,000 cost-share),
-Minnesota Children's Museum ($3,000 cost-share),
-National Youth Leadership Council ($11,232 cost-share),
-Rock Star Supply Company ($3,000 cost-share),
-Saint Paul Music Academy ($3,000 cost-share),
-Science Museum of Minnesota ($3,000 cost-share),

will be Participating Sites with a VISTA member placed at each Site, and each Participating Site will contribute cost-share funding for the position (as indicated); and
WHEREAS, in order to facilitate the process and obtain funds from the Participating Sites the City needs to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with each Participating Site; now, therefore be it
