Ratifying Collection of Certificate of Occupancy fees from June 2011 (File No. CRT1107, Assessment No. 118095)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 11-1428 accepted the Report of Completion for Collection of Certificate of Occupancy fees from the month of June 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the following assessments were appealed:
RLH TA 11-298 - 425 Front Avenue;
RLH TA 11-304 - 1583 Hazelwood;
RLH TA 11-297 - 545 Minnehaha Avenue East;
RLH TA 11-329 - 975 Minnehaha Avenue West;
RLH TA 11-295 - 24 Susan Avenue;
RLH TA 11-299 - 869 Third Street East;
RLH TA 11-330 - 441 Wheeler Street;
RLH TA 11-296 - 868 Winthrop Street South; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on September 21, 2011 to consider ratification of assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for and in connection with said services, having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same and found the said assessment satisfactory, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that said assessmentd be and the same are hereby in all respects ratified pursuant to Saint Paul City Charter Chapter 14 and Saint Paul Administrative Code Chapter 60: Property Service Cost Assessments with the following amendments:
RLH TA 11-298 - 425 Front Avenue - Delete the assessment;
RLH TA 11-304 - 1583 Hazelwood - lay the matter over to October 5, 2011;
RLH TA 11-297 - 545 Minnehaha Avenue East - Delete the assessment;
RLH TA 11-295 - 24 Susan Avenue - Reduce the assessment from $535.00 to $365.00; and
RESOLVED, that said assessments are hereby determined to be payable in one installment unless specified above in the legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
