Purpose of Appeal

Due to the rental agreement with my tenant, he should have 30 days to move everything out of the property before we fix it.  Please give us more time to get things done.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Toan Than Truong to a Summary Abatement Order at 499 WESTERN AVENUE NORTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days, allowing that if the Fire Certificate of Occupancy is reinstated within 6 weeks, a code compliance inspection and certificate will not be required; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
