WHEREAS, the Victim Services Division of the Wyoming Office of Attorney General  is putting on a domestic violence training, called "The 13th Annual Wyoming Victim Services Conference," taking place between August 29-31, 2011 in Cheyenne, Wyoming; and
 
WHEREAS, the Wyoming Attorney General's Office has invited Michael Seasly, Supervisor of the Saint Paul City Attorney's Office Domestic Unit, to speak at the Victim Services Conference on the subject of the St. Paul Blueprint for Safety; and
 
WHEREAS, the Victim Services Division will cover transportation, accommodation, and meal expenses to attend the Victim Services Conference; and
 
WHEREAS, the total cost of attending the Victim Services Conference, including airfare, one (1) night lodging, meals, and other transportation expenses, is $872.00; and
 
WHEREAS, speaking at the Victim Services Conference on the subject of the Blueprint for Safety will give positive exposure to the City of St. Paul and its efforts to combat domestic violence at all levels and provide the Mr. Seasly with the ability to meet other people from the field to gather information and exchange ideas on the subject of combating domestic violence; now, therefore, be it
 
RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul accepts the donation of airfare, lodging, meals and transportation costs and appropriates it to the use by Michael Seasly to attend the Wyoming Victim Services Conference from August 29, 2011 to August 30, 2011 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and thanks the Wyoming Office of Attorney General for its generous gift.
