Establishing a financing and spending plan in the Fire Department for the grant of $13,109.00 received from the Saint Paul Police Foundation 100 Club Committee.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Department has received a grant of $13,109.00 from the Saint Paul Police Foundation 100 Club Committee to purchase cardio vascular equipment, xtreme rescue gut belts, and emergency extraction gloves, and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the grant received, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $13,109.00 in excess of those estimated in the 2011 budget, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to the 2011 budget:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Saint Paul, accept this grant of $13,109.00 from the Saint Paul Police Foundation 100 Club Committee, and extend their sincere appreciation to this organization.
