Ratifying the assessments for Excessive Inspection services billed from March 14 to April 8, 2011. (File No. J1108E, Assessment No. 118084)

Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 11-1024 accepted the Report of Completion for Excessive Inspection services for the Property Code Violations billed during the time period of March 14 to April 08, 2011; and

WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and

WHEREAS, the following assessments were appealed:

RLH TA 11-158 - 1270 Cleveland Avenue South - Approve the assessment;
RLH TA 11-153 - 255 Colborne Street - Delete the assessment;
RLH TA 11-155 - 1256 Hartford Avenue - Approve the assessment;
RLH TA 11-172 - 1632 Sherburne Avenue (aka 500 Fry Street) - Delete the assessment;
RLH TA 11-165 - 850 Sims Avenue - Approve the assessment;
RLH TA 11-152 - 536 Smith Avenue South - Approve the assessment;
RLH TA 11-163 - 811 Smith Avenue South - Approve the assessment; and

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on August 03, 2011 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for and in connection with said services, having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same and found said assessments satisfactory, Now, Therefore Be It

RESOLVED, that said assessments be and the same are hereby in all respects ratified; pursuant to Saint Paul City Charter Chapter 14 and Saint Paul Administrative Code Chapter 60: Property Service Cost Assessments with the following amendments:

RLH TA 11-153 - 255 Colborne Street - Delete the assessment;
RLH TA 11-172 - 1632 Sherburne Avenue (aka 500 Fry Street) - Delete the assessment;

RESOLVED, that said assessments are hereby determined to be payable in one installment, unless specified above...
