Purpose of Appeal
Fire Inspector Mr. James Thomas and I [had] issues about timing of inspections and others but the house is up to code on all issues. But Mr. Thomas refuses to reinspect and reissue an occupancy permit. I only ask the right to occupy the house. This property is in foreclosure at this time. I request that you grant me an occupancy permit at this time.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Dan Gallaway to a Vacant Building Registration Fee at 1564 MCAFEE STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends [recommendation]
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
