Purpose: Appeal of a Heritage Preservation Commission decision denying the installation of a glass block wall at the corner of the building from floors two through four.
The applicant proposed this glass block wall as part of a larger proposal on October 21, 2010 and the HPC conditionally approved the application. The applicant did not meet the condition which required more consideration of the corner treatment in addition to the glass block wall. Because an agreement could not be reached, the applicant submitted a second proposal for the glass block and the HPC denied the proposal.
