Ratifying the assessments for Tree Removal Services in March 2011. (File No. 1107T, Asmt No. 119098)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 11-872 accepted the Report of Completion for Removal of Diseased and/or Dangerous Trees on Private Properties in March 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the following assessments were appealed:
RLH TA 11-80 - 878 Central Avenue West - Approve the assessment and spread the payment over 10 years;
RLH TA 11-96 -1311 Laurel Avenue - Approve the assessment and spread the payment over 10 years;
RLH TA 11-81 - 2447 University Avenue West - Approve the assessment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on July 6, 2011 to consider ratification of assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for and in connection with said services, having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same and found the said assessments satisfactory; Now, Therefore Be It
RESOLVED, that the said assessments be and the same are hereby in all respects ratified; pursuant to Saint Paul City Charter Chapter 14 and Saint Paul Administrative Code Chapter 175: Dutch Elm Diseased Tree with the following amendments:
RLH TA 11-80 878 Central Avenue West - Approve the assessment and spread the payment over 10 years;
RLH TA 11-96 1311 Laurel Avenue - Approve the assessment and spread the payment over 10 years; And, Be It Further
RESOLVED, that said assessments are hereby amended as specified above.
