Authorizing the Fire Department to enter into a lease agreement with the Saint Paul Fire Foundation to use the department's training facility to host a fundraising event.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Foundation would like to use the Saint Paul Fire Department training facility to host a fundraising event for the Saint Paul Fire Foundation on June 14, 2011, and
WHEREAS, the value of the leased property for the event is $600.00 which is being leased to the non-profit Saint Paul Fire Foundation for no cost and the public purpose of this fundraising event is for the Saint Paul Fire Foundation to raise money to support firefighter safety and education, and
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute a lease agreement which includes and indemnification clause with the Saint Paul Fire Foundation to use the Saint Paul Fire Department training facility, as provided by the Saint Paul Fire Department; a copy of said lease agreement is to be kept on file and of record in the Office of Financial Services.
