I made application to install larger windows and the application was turned down by the HPC. The permit was to replace existing with identical per direction of HPC.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the appeal of Will Rolf to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 501 ASHLAND AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 3-inch and 7-inch variance on the openable height of the egress bedroom windows in all units of the building; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
