WHEREAS, in the matter of the appeal of William Kamb to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 401 HOYT AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 5-inch variance on the openable height of the egress windows in the upper floor's northwest and northeast bedrooms; grant 7 inch variance on egress window sill height requirement for the lower floor south and northeast bedroom if a step must be installed for the full width of the egress, deny the appeal on the lower floor south and northeast bedroom egress window dimensions and grant an extension for 90 days to bring those windows into compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
