Amending Chapter 160 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code pertaining to Parking Meter Zones.

An Ordinance ESTABLISHING parking METER ZONES, pursuant to Chapter 160 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul does Ordain:
A: That Chapter 160 of the Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding the following parking meter zone:
Location Side of Street From To
University Avenue Both West City Limits Marion Street
B: That the time limits for meters installed on University Avenue shall be limited to two (2) hour meters or thirty (30) minute meters with the locations to be determined by the Director of Public Works;
C: That pay rates for meters installed on University Avenue shall be $1.00 per hour for the two (2) hour meters and $0.75 for thirty (30) minutes for thirty (30) minute meters;
D: That Chapter 160 of the Municipal Code is hereby amended by modifying the following parking meter zones:

Raymond Avenue Both Myrtle Avenue Territorial Road 2 hour 2 hour $0.50/hr $1.00/hr
Sherburne Avenue North Park Street Cedar Street 1 hour 2 hour $1.00/hr $1.00/hr
Aurora Avenue North Marion Street Rice Street 1 hour 2 hour $1.00/hr $1.00/hr
Aurora Avenue South Marion Street Rice Street 10 hour 10 hour $0.50/hr $1.00/hr
Thirty (30) minute meters to be installed on streets referenced in the above table shall be installed at locations to be determined by the Director of Public Works. Pay rates for thirty (30) minute meters shall be $0.75 for thirty (30) minutes.
E: That installation of parking meters and modifications to parking meter zones shall be completed in conjunction with Central Corridor Light Rail Transit Street Improvements.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days following its passage, approval and publication.
