Ratifying the assessments for Collection of Vacant Building Fees Services from February 2011 (File No. VB1108, Assessment No. 118050)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 11-713 accepted the Report of Completion for Collection of Vacant Building Fees (Re-Invoiced) from the month of February, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on June 01, 2011 to consider ratification of assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for and in connection with said services, having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same and found the said assessment satisfactory, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects ratified; pursuant to Saint Paul City Charter Chapter 14, with the following amendments
331 Aurora Avenue - refer back for separate consideration in Legislative Hearing on June 7, 2011 and CIty Council Public Hearing on July 6, 2011;
925 Cook Avenue East - delete the assessment;
565 Jefferson Avenue - refer back for separate consideration in Legislative Hearing on June 7, 2011 and CIty Council Public Hearing on July 7, 2011;
559 McKnight Road South - refer back for separate consideration in Legislative Hearing on June 21, 2011 and CIty Council Public Hearing on October 5, 2011; and
619 Western Avenue - delete the assessment.
and be it further
RESOLVED, that the said assessment is hereby determined to be payable in one installment, unless specified above in the legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
331 Aurora Avenue - refer back into Legislative Hearing on June 7, 2011 and CIty Council Public Hearing on July 7, 2011.
