AMENDED June 1, 2011
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 11-718 accepted the Report of Completion for Property Clean Up on Private Properties during the time period of March 01 to March 31, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on June 01, 2011 to consider ratification of assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for and in connection with said services, having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same and found the said assessment satisfactory, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects ratified; pursuant to Saint Paul City Charter Chapter 14; with the following amendments:
1011 1101 McLean Avenue - delete the assessment;
1401 Edmund Avenue - delete the assessment;
393 Cleveland Avenue North - refer to Legislative Hearing on June 7, 2011 and City Council Public Hearing on July 6, 2011;
486 Geranium Avenue East - reduce the assessment from $300 to $150;
276 Maria Avenue - reduce the assessment from $400 to $100; and
1727 Upper Afton Road - reduce the assessment from $300 to $150;
and be it further
RESOLVED, that the said assessment is hereby determined to be payable in one installment, unless specified above in the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
