Purpose of Appeal
Appellant completed all deficiencies on previous inspections, but requested additional time on the following items:
1-3:  Originally moved to May, June, need more time to build cash.
4:  Furnace is off, not in use.  Will address before winter.  Waiting to hear on grant application.
6:  Tenant is using electric heaters and will discontinue in next few weeks due to warm weather.  Will re-address before winter.
5:  Dryer exhaust duct to be completed immediately after appeal is granted.

Legislative Hearing Resolution
WHEREAS, in the matter of the appeal of Brian Cox to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy With Deficiencies at 1013 MARGARET STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant an extension to July 1, 2011 to complete exterior work (Items #1, #2 and #3), deny the appeal and grant an extension to September 1, 2011 to complete the heating issues (Items #4 and #6), and grant until June 1, 2011 for the dryer vent; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
