Approving the Department of Parks and Recreation's request to apply for grant funds for youth development with the City's Sprockets Program.

WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting permission to apply for grant funds from the Mardag Foundation for the purpose of supporting youth worker professional development through the Sprockets Out-of-School Time Network; and
WHEREAS, if awarded grant funds, the Department of Parks and Recreation requests permission to accept the funds and process any necessary agreements to provide the services or conduct the work as outlined in the grant; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul authorizes Parks and Recreation to apply for and, if awarded, accept these funds.
