Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Vehicle license held by Mark D. Mailer, d/b/a Mark D. Mailer for the City of Saint Paul.

WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Taxicab Vehicle license held by Mark D. Mailer d/b/a Mark D. Mailer (License ID #0030276) for the City of Saint Paul by Notice of Intent to Revoke License dated March 1, 2011, alleging licensees Minnesota Drivers License was suspended on October 11, 2010, for failure to appear or pay fines; and
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.16 (e) (5) (h) Requirement of a valid Minnesota or Wisconsin drivers license, the licensing office recommended license revocation; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Revoke License to request a public hearing before City Council or an administrative hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Revoke License stated that if the licensee failed to request a public hearing before City Council or an administrative hearing by March 11, 2011, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Taxicab Vehicle license held by Mark D. Mailer d/b/a Mark D. Mailer is hereby revoked due to the fact that the licensees Minnesota Drivers License was suspended on October 11, 2010, in violation of Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.16 (e)(5)(h).
