Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to enter into a two-year lease agreement with District 16 Community Council for office space at Linwood Recreation Center.
Body
WHEREAS, the Summit Hill Association, District Council16 wishes to enter into a two-year agreement with the City of Saint Paul Parks and Recreation for leased office space at Linwood Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Administrative Code requires that any lease of parkland or recreation facilities which will be for a period of more than one year be approved by the council following a public hearing before the park commission; and
WHEREAS, the Parks Commission recommends approval of the lease; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Parks and Recreation is authorized to enter into the attached two-year agreement with the Summit Hill Association, District 16.
