Amending assessment to delete for graffiti removal on private property from August 2, 2010 to August 20, 2010 for property at 227 Snelling Avenue North (RE Project #J1103P, Assessment #118971).

WHEREAS, on January 5, 2011, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File RES 11-18, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for graffiti removal on private property from August 2, 2010 to August 20, 2010. (File No. J1103P, Assessment No. 118971); and
WHEREAS, the property at 227 Snelling Avenue North being described as: Oakland Park Additionto The C Lots 5 And Lot 6 Blk 1, with the property identifification number 04-28-23-11-0003 was assessed an amount of $175.46; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections recommends deleting the assessment as a graffiti waiver was received; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with this action; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the amount of the assessment for this property be deleted, plus any accrued interest; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the reduction of $175.46, plus any accrued interest, be funded by the Exempt Assessment Fund. Council File RES 11-18 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
