Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $10,000.00 for the 2008 Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) Grant.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has received a grant of $100,000.00 from the State of Minnesota for the 2008 Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) Grant to pay for training and equipment for the tactical medic program, and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul was granted authority in Council Resolution 10-1124 to accept this grant from the State of Minnesota, and
WHEREAS, the original budget was approved in Council Resolution 10-1124, and
WHEREAS, there is a remaining balance of $100,000.00 to spend on this grant, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $10,000.00 in excess of those estimated in the 2011 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to the 2011 budget:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that a financing and spending plan will be established for this grant and the City Council approves the changes to the 2011 budget.
