Amending the financing and spending plans in the 2005 Capital Improvement Projects - New Fire Station 8 and 2009 Capital Maintenance Program - Fire in the amount of $20,000.00 for fire station window replacement.

WHEREAS, the Fire Department has a remaining balance of $28,418.97 in 2005 Capital Improvement Projects - New Fire Station 8, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department has a window replacement project budgeted in 2009 Capital Maintenance Program that due to increase costs does not have enough money budgeted to complete the project, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to transfer $20,000.00 from the Capital Improvement Projects - New Fire Station 8 to 2009 Capital Maintenance Program to cover the cost of the window replacement, and
WHERAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $20,000.00 in excess of those estimated in the budget and recommends the following addition be made to the 2011 budget;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Paul upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, approved the changes to the 2009 Capital Improvement Budget.
