The City Council of the City of Saint Paul Does Ordain:
Section 1.
The Administrative Code of the City of Saint Paul is hereby amended to create a new Chapter 33B that reads as follows:
Reimbursement for technology expense.
33B.01 Technology expense reimbursement authorized.
Elected officials and their aides may be reimbursed for the use of their own technology devices for official city business. Technology devices as used herein mean any electronic device used for communication or internet access. Elected officials and their aides who are required to use their own technology devices on a regular basis on city business may receive as a reimbursement one hundred sixty dollars ($160.00) per month towards the cost of the service plan or plans necessary for the use of the devices.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after passage, approval and publication
