Purpose of Appeal
Request an exception to current escape window requirement. Item 3 - This house is a 1930's era dwelling with stucco exterior and lath/plaster interior modifying the sleeping room window openings to meet current escape window requirements would seriously damage house appearance and may introduce other structural problems. First floor west window has been adjusted and now opens 19 H X 27 W. All windows exceed glazed area by 1.8 sq. feet and are 7 " wider (only 2" to 5" shorter) than currently required.
